"the greatest use of a life is to spend it on something that outlasts it." - william james we had so many amazing things that happened this last week & a half but i just want to share one little miracle! we were a little behind schedule on monday & i was getting stressed & tired:,) but we had to run to walmart to grab a couple things to last us the rest of the week. it was like 8:15 at night at the super sketchy walmart so i wanted to hurry out of there BUT we were in the bagel isle & these 2 random girls came up to us & asked if they could pray with us! they were just students who attend a church in town & try to disciple people every time they go out! they asked us a bunch of questions & we had the coolest conversation & then one of them said the SWEETEST prayer!  this is a small thing but it was exactly what i needed! those girls taught me a few lessons: - prayer is powerful! - you can have a spiritual experience anywhere! - AND MOST IMPORTA...

looking back at these emails is gonna be so funny... i feel like a broken record & that i start off every email with one of 3 phrases. this weeks is: WOW this week was crazy!!! haha we had zone conference on tuesday! one of the most inspiring ZCs ive had on my mission honestly. me & sis ricks got to instruct on planning & the ZLs instructed on finding & the APs instructed on making a vision statement... all of it together is basically a blueprint for how to have a successful area & be a happy missionary! so dope. i also got to see a bunch of friends & i want all the pics in my email soooo... you might get a couple emails from me soooorryy! we had a wild exchange... it felt like nothing went right & that was tough cause it was sis hopkins first one! but i told her that thats how missionary work is a lot of the time & i also bought her bahama bucks to make up for it:) at the very end of the exchange i got pulled over for speeding as well... driving a new t...

we had a pretty fire week! heres some random things: - exchanges with queen sister bellows!! i love her! we knocked a bunch of doors at a sketch apartment complex & did a stopby at a frat house... missionary life is wild.  - VALENTINES DAY! ill never forget a few transfers ago when sis joy in san angelo said "dont worry about me, im married to jesus!" me too girl... anyway:,) sophia gave me & sis ricks roses & it made my life. - i hit 18 months as a missionary on the 15th... literally insane. we celebrated by going to volleyball & drinking martinellis after:,) - sis ricks made me try pickles stuffed with hot cheetos and honestly... they were super good HAHA, we were gonna deep fry them at a ward activity but didnt have time - i got to see homie and becky from san ang!!! pray for homie cause he just had a pretty intense surgery... - sis ricks scratched our car last week:,) so while its been getting fixed, weve been driving a truck... a ford maverick named verno...

me & sis ricks got the most fire matching glasses on pday. i went to hobbs for exchanges with SIS HUNTER!!! my queen wow. we had some incredible lessons... one of the best was with a lady named lizeth whos on date to be baptized and SHE IS AMAZING! the poster child for finding joy in the gospel fr we had a little galentines dinner ft bishop fife at the fifes house and it was so fun! our friend mon was at dinner too & she shared that she had been reading the book of mormon one day & as soon as she finished she found her stolen bike! she totally connected the two! our friend colby came to volleyball & we gave him a BoM and he seemed so excited to read!  sis romans, the office secretary, put a picture of me & sis ricks on the background on her office computer soooo we're basically her favs:,) SARAH GOT DUNKED!!!!!!! sarah is one of the most prepared people ive ever met in my life! she is so committed to the gospel & living it daily. im so grateful i could be a ...

welp big news... the trio was short lived... sis sohm is off to carlsbad, nm. it was not in presidents original plan, she was supposed to stay here all transfer but god had other plans. but holy cow this has been one of the most goated weeks of my mission & im so grateful that i was able to witness so many miracles with sis ricks & sis sohm! shes gonna kill it in carlsbad:) SO MANY MIRACLES THIS WEEK! i have just realized that this area & this ward has simply been worked well for years... seeds have been planted & now we are harvesting! - me & sis hall went on an exchange! part 2! we found a new friend named briana which was a miracle cause we didnt find a single person contacting on campus last tranfser... she did end up ghosting us but it was a miracle nonetheless:,) - we got a ton of phone numbers on campus! people are kind but part of me wishes they would be more straight up so we dont text them if theyre not actually interested haha - we had a FIRE lesson with ...
