Week 77!

welp big news... the trio was short lived... sis sohm is off to carlsbad, nm. it was not in presidents original plan, she was supposed to stay here all transfer but god had other plans. but holy cow this has been one of the most goated weeks of my mission & im so grateful that i was able to witness so many miracles with sis ricks & sis sohm! shes gonna kill it in carlsbad:)

SO MANY MIRACLES THIS WEEK! i have just realized that this area & this ward has simply been worked well for years... seeds have been planted & now we are harvesting!

- me & sis hall went on an exchange! part 2! we found a new friend named briana which was a miracle cause we didnt find a single person contacting on campus last tranfser... she did end up ghosting us but it was a miracle nonetheless:,)

- we got a ton of phone numbers on campus! people are kind but part of me wishes they would be more straight up so we dont text them if theyre not actually interested haha

- we had a FIRE lesson with these w newer guys in our ward who play football for tech (will & rylan) and another newer guy from AZ actually (greysen) joined us. it was super spiritual & theyre all such good examples to me of the devotion i want to have when im not a full time missionary anymore. greysen also gave me a ton of advice that i dont remember but i told him to tell me again in a few weeks:,)

- we had some awesome lessons with friends & recent converts this week too! sarah, mon, elaine, sadie... it was just cool to see how the gospel is helping them along in their journey & get some clarity on how to help them progress.

- on saturday we went to a farmers market & a guy came up to us! he said that he sells for vivint so hes been exposed to the church a ton. he told us hes been reading the Book of Mormon & loves it, wants to come to church, and wants to set up a lesson with us... king pierce! he seems pretty promising:)

AND THE COOLEST MIRACLE OF ALL!

church was literally cracked yesterday... half of our congregation was nonmembers!

1. there was a group there to do a school assignment & the senior couple answered their questions after

2. the other sisters friend chelsea got up & bore her testimony about gods timing & the elders friend terrence bore his testimony about having a personal relationship with god!

3. a random guy named colby showed up cause his member friend in georgia told him to come. i sat by him, answered questions, he stayed all the way through sunday school, and when we texted him after, he said he wants to come to our volleyball night, church, and meet with us to get more information on the Book of Mormon!

i had my departing interview with president langeveld yesterday which was insane. their transfers get so busy traveling for ZCs that they had to do mine early in the transfer. he gave me some great advice but we mostly just talked about my growth. SO MUCH GROWTH! i just love him & the gift he has to see our potential, not give up on us, and rejoice with us when we finally reach it... truly a disciple of christ! i love rejoicing with him!

i feel like theres so much more cause this weeks just been insane but i think thatll cover it for this week... BIG PRAYERS FOR SARAH! shes doing great & getting baptized on saturday! feeling super stoked for her:)
