Hello lovely people! MADE IT TO TEXAS!! I got my area assignment on wednesday and im in lubbock first transfer! Im in the lubbock north zone which encompasses Texas Tech... the temple is just outside my zone BUT its close enough that were still allowed to go i think or at least we did and no one said anything hahaha. Sister Adams is my trainer and shes sick! Shes been out for a year, loves musicals, does brazilian jiu jitsu, and just tried dr pepper for the first time a couple transfers ago. This week has been the longest week of my life I am not going to lie. The MTC did not prepare me for real missionary life because the MTC was easy and basically a social hour all of the time hahah. Coming to the field and starting to work was a serious wake up call and it's been kind of tough adjusting. GUYS time is flying by already  I just left the MTC and I'm on my way to texas.. don't even know how to explain how I'm feeling right now. A little scared a little tired a little excited, honestly just overwhelmed. But I'm sure I'll feel better once I've met my trainer! Don't know who she is yet but I'm prayin she's cool. This week was so awesome. We had lots of good devotionals and classes. I seriously have learned so much already and I can't wait to start applying it this week. My district is the best district ever. I have learned so much from all of them through their insights and past experiences. I honestly don't know how we got so close in just 3 weeks, only half of that in person BUT I am so thankful for it. Sister Merrill said something so profound in our last district devotional... she said something like "love brings the greatest joy and the greatest pain." I love my district so much so I was so happy learning and growing ...
