Week 80!

looking back at these emails is gonna be so funny... i feel like a broken record & that i start off every email with one of 3 phrases. this weeks is:

WOW this week was crazy!!!

haha

we had zone conference on tuesday! one of the most inspiring ZCs ive had on my mission honestly. me & sis ricks got to instruct on planning & the ZLs instructed on finding & the APs instructed on making a vision statement... all of it together is basically a blueprint for how to have a successful area & be a happy missionary! so dope. i also got to see a bunch of friends & i want all the pics in my email soooo... you might get a couple emails from me soooorryy!

we had a wild exchange... it felt like nothing went right & that was tough cause it was sis hopkins first one! but i told her that thats how missionary work is a lot of the time & i also bought her bahama bucks to make up for it:) at the very end of the exchange i got pulled over for speeding as well... driving a new truck w no tiwi got me. BUT MOM before you get mad.... it was a road i had never driven before & the cop even said there was no posted speed limit cause CR limits are an implied 60mph:,)

sis ricks taught me how to play the guitar!! im working on the commission by cain!

natalie had us sisters over for dinner & made the fanciest meal since it was gonna be my last meal with her! it was so kind! shes getting ready to go on a mission... so inspired by her!

i got to see sister sanders & elder rowley!!! they came to see a ward member get sealed so we did a little picnic at the temple before hand! that healed my soul!

i also got to go to the temple this week! it will be closed the week i go home so i went early. if you havent been in a while... GO! the new endowment presentation is incredible. i also love how at the beginning it says something like "the endowment was given by revelation so it is understood by revelation."

mon update... SHES ON DATE FOR BAPTISM!! finally! im so happy for her... she finished the BoM and talked to her dad & its a go! going to all the baptisms since ive been in this area has just shown me the pure joy people feel right as they enter into the covenant! its SO special!

bryce update... our lesson with him this week was awesome! he had read alma 36 beforehand so when we got to the lesson, he spouted off a BUNCH of things that he liked & basically shared his testimony with us! i think he'll progress super well & we actually have the perfect member to fellowship him too... gods hand!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT!

"And who shall say that Jesus Christ did not do many mighty miracles? And there were many mighty miracles wrought by the hands of the apostles.

And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be a God of miracles and yet be an unchangeable Being? And behold, I say unto you he changeth not; if so he would cease to be God; and he ceaseth not to be God, and is a God of miracles."

im struggling a lot with the fact that im going home... theres a lot of reasons but i think the main ones are simply because of all the miracles ive seen in this area...

the miracle of connection.

the miracle of feeling the spirit testify of truth.

the miracle of patience.

the miracle of covenant making & keeping.

honestly just the miracle that i got to be here at this time!

i KNOW that even the smallest good things are miracles from god & that the more we seek, expect, and recognize those blessings, the more we will receive!

my mission is a miracle!

the next email i write will be my last. but it will not be my last time testifying of christ & the miracles ive seen to all of you!
