Week 79!

we had a pretty fire week! heres some random things:

- exchanges with queen sister bellows!! i love her! we knocked a bunch of doors at a sketch apartment complex & did a stopby at a frat house... missionary life is wild.

- VALENTINES DAY! ill never forget a few transfers ago when sis joy in san angelo said "dont worry about me, im married to jesus!" me too girl... anyway:,) sophia gave me & sis ricks roses & it made my life.

- i hit 18 months as a missionary on the 15th... literally insane. we celebrated by going to volleyball & drinking martinellis after:,)

- sis ricks made me try pickles stuffed with hot cheetos and honestly... they were super good HAHA, we were gonna deep fry them at a ward activity but didnt have time

- i got to see homie and becky from san ang!!! pray for homie cause he just had a pretty intense surgery...

- sis ricks scratched our car last week:,) so while its been getting fixed, weve been driving a truck... a ford maverick named vernon hahaha. its so ugly but kinda fun cause it doesnt have the driving monitor in it hehe.

- on our way out the door for church, sis ricks went to throw away the trash in the alley dumpster & accidently threw her phone in there too... sis hall dumpster dove for it haha

*as i write this im realizing a lot of my stories revolve around sis ricks and the funny things she does but im not too sorry about it... shes hilarious*

2 super cool miracles from this week!

- we had an interview with some tech students for a school project! we had to jump through some hoops since it was gonna be audio & video recorded (got to talk to the stake communications representative which was super cool causes shes definitely experienced in PR which is what i wanna do) but eventually it got all sorted out & we had the interview on thursday! we had a member come which ended up being super good. we were so nervous it was going to be a bash but the questions were actually really cool & they said that we clarified a lot of misconceptions and that they realize now how much we have in common. im grateful for the spirit who prompts me to know what to say to help others learn of christ!

- we had a phone call lesson with this guy named bryce who sis ricks found on campus when i was on exchanges. he was super open to reading the BoM with us & said he loved it so far! he even agreed to another time to meet in person & he seemed super genuine. this is the first person weve officially found from campus who seems legitimately interested. huge miracle! it was a buzzer beater too... had our call at 7 last night so we just barely hit our finding goal because of the lesson we had with him!

dont forget that! we are all working to grow & that requires a bit of grace. our goal is eventual perfection but right now, our goal is to continually be in the process of being perfected by christ.

we can trust christ! he is our sure rock & advocate!

go read 2 nephi 4 & draw strength from the fact that nephi has weaknesses but that he is willing to turn them over to christ & focus on his gospel!
