it's been 3 days since I've emailed... silly transfer pday schedule. but hey it's been a great couple days. friday - said goodbye to sis chock:,( - said hello to sis oliver:) - SAW SIS SANDERS what a surprise wow - saw other homies (I love transfer day cause you see so many people AH I love my friends) - realized that if I extend I'll serve almost an elders mission (20 months!!)...... Saturday - worked on the barmores shed again... the walls are up now! - ran into the 2nd summer sales bro of the week (both came up to us saying "oh HEY sisterssss" and talked to us for 20 min about their missions) - taught some fire member lessons - played settlers of catan for the 2nd time in my life Sunday - took the sacrament! - played tic tac toe with carlyl allred during the talks - did a BUNCH of contacts and weekly planning - heard the barmores love story for the 2nd time at dinner - got on the last mission prayer zoom call with the Childs.. they'll be getting replace...

ayoo there's been a change to the pday every 6 weeks.. they're tryna keep us on our toes I guess:,) but HEY wow! I hit 10 months as a missionary last week.. if a mission was equivalent to 80 years (ya know cause they say the mission is a metaphor for life), I would be around 46 right now... waiting for the midlife crisis fr. we got transfer news last night & I'm staying!!! Artesia hasn't seen enough of me. all week I had a weird feeling I was leaving?.. I was confused but I am pleasantly surprised I'm staying. Sister Chock is leaving tho:( but she's going to LUBBOCK! I'm so excited for her. also QUEEN ELLIE sister sanders my daughter is going stl down there and Sister Mac is also going to be there so I told them all they need to give each other hugs for me. wow missions are awesome I'm seriously so amazed by the love I have for all of my companions. its incredible!  we had a pretty great time focusing on our members these past couple weeks... we had ...

random recent obsessions just for fun: snack size seaweed, the song sleeping alone by flatland cavalry, coloring, studying the atonement, fresca, and drawing with chalk!  anyways.. it was zone conference week! last one with pres & sis child:(  I know that president child was supposed to be my mission president! he was truly inspired & I learned so much from him. in this last interview, he told me how proud of me he is and how much growth he has seen in the past 9 months... that was incredible to hear!  we did another exchange this week! they're always a transfer highlight. roswell is a weird zone cause there's not very many sisters so we get to do more exchanges & this time I got to go to Carlsbad with sis flake! we did tennis for morning sports!!! 2nd time I've played on my mission... mira you'll probably beat me when i get home:,( almost all of our lessons punched AGAIN! it's hard to be a missionary when people's agency is involved.. or maybe I...

update on "our dog" trashy... haven't seen her since last week:( hope she found a home tho!   we had exchanges this week & sweet hermana flake came to Artesia with me! WE FOUND 2 PEOPLE! we found amber at a random stop by we were doing and we found raquel over the phone after she sent in a referral. both times, the spirit was SO strong when we testified. i just love Sister Flake, she is so strong and loving and selfless! a good example to me. we did some good service this week! we helped with a move (classic missionary moment), supervised at a community teen movie night in a park, played bingo at a nursing home (also classic), made playdough with a lonely mom in our ward, and worked out with another one! I'm really trying to pick up the service in this area because there wasn't much when i got here and I saw it work little miracles in eastland we taught a few good lessons this week as well! finally did a video call with jacob so I got to see his face. he's...
