Week 65!

week 65 (i think)!

tbh dont know what to even write this week haha... ive written so many of these theyre all starting to sound the same. but here goes:

- sis bigler is here now! she came from a small town by amarillo & shes new to being an stl so this is a big adjustment fot her

- we had exchanges & i got to hang out with hermana pounder! we came in together on day one & now we're getting close to the end... pretty wild. she said the PUREST thing in a prayer that i will never forget... she said "we love thee & miss thee." WOW so proufound. cause i do miss god! & i know he misses me too!

- we had mlc in lubbock so i got to see all of my past comps that are still in the mission! someone called me the stl factory haha. im not mad though, got to sit next to all of them at lunch. didnt get a pic tho rip. BUT there's another one this transfer lol so we'll run it back

- on mlc day, i got to see the curtis's!! my bestie family from lubbock! sis curtis gives the 2nd best mom hugs i think

- we did service at a foodbank & then out at the ranch on saturday. i was in charge of putting christmas lights on the fence... bad idea. i got them sooo tangled i was so embarrassed

- sunday we finally had some good finding time in & we ended up knocking a few doors in an apartment complex. a guy named alex opened the door, african descent, and he proceeded to share his testimony with us & listen to ours. he took a BoM too!! we're gonna meet with him in a couple weeks. some cool things about this: i had just watched my friend rylans homecoming talk & he came from ghana so he had an accent. because i had listened to that, i was better able to process alexs thick accent (no coincidences, just tender mercies). also, its always cool to find someone on the last day of the week... 4th floor, last door moment.

i may have already shared this quote in an email but its been on my mind a lot again... "thee lift me & I'll lift thee & we'll ascend together." holy it speaks for itself. but my thoughts recently have been on all those who have helped lift me specifically while ive been a missionary. missionary life is toughhhh stuff so its no surprise that god provides many tender mercies & earth angels to strengthen us. if youre struggling right now, turn to one of those god-given people. theyre in your life for a reason! & turn outward. try to be that person for someone else in need. just a good ol cycle:)

keep on truckin, folks, no matter what youre goin through. know god loves ya!!
