Week 56!

HAHA ahhhh feels like last pday was yesterday:,) me & sis beames have both agreed that this is just a fever dream transfer... not even real. its just movin so fast!

some random things from the week:

- went on another exchange w sis bradshaw & learned a new board game called wingspan! the next morning an elder called us & asked us to give him detailed instructions on how to put his contacts in... one of the funniest phone calls of my life:,)

- had a FIRE study of 1 nephi 17... highly recommend everyone checks it out

- stopped by and old guy named luis's house cause he sent in a referral... when we were done talking w him we closed with a prayer & during it i peeked lol & HE WAS VIDEOING US! sooo creepy we walked away sooo fast

- knocked some cruuuusty lookin trailer parks, made me very grateful to have the protection & guidance of the spirit

- had a lesson with ivan at an old bridge that lights up at night & has a bunch of graffiti on it... sooo sick

lemme tell you about a miracle guy! QUENTIN! so amazing. basically a random guy from the other ward in san ang called us and said, "i have a friend for yall to teach." so monday night we went to a lesson w quentin & this member. this member was SO excited that basically he talked the entire time, got into some deep doctrine stuff, and didnt even let us talk. but by a miracle, quentin was still stoked to meet again. so we met with him again at a library with a different member & the lesson was AWESOME! the spirit was so strong! he has the most humble & teachable spirit of anyone ive ever met & he has such a strong desire to learn. we're really excited to keep teaching him!! PRAYERS FOR QUENTIN!

okay last thing... on one of my first exchanges here to san ang during my time in eastland, i met an oooold guy named richard & he gave me a siiiick black denim bomber jacket right off his back cause i complimented him on it... hopefully some of yall remember this haha. it was the HUGEST tender mercy for me that day cause eastland was tough. so today we drove by his house & saw him outside so we went over & talked to him... he obviously has some mental stuff, maybe dementia, but he TOTALLY lit up when i reminded him of what happened. it was truly just the biggest blessing, a full circle moment of Gods love.

my spiritual thought is simple today... God is aware & blessing us! we just have to be aware of the blessings as they come!
