Week 55!

okay i bet my emails have been boring the past few weeks so ill try & spice this one up with some highlights.
- i had an exchange w/ sis caldwell from ysa!!! holy shes amazing, such a powerful testimony. shes only 1/2 through her 2nd transfer but she seems like shes been out longer than me:,)
- we did a sleepover w them, i slept on the floor, their apartment was FREEZING, and i woke up with a mega sore throat & cold, which i am still battling currently
- even though i am ill, we worked haaaard this week.. we found 5 new people to teach!! & taught 3 lessons with members participating!! all while trying to balance meetings & exchanges!! i know for a faaaact the lord was giving me strength cause i couldnt have done it without him.
- I DROVE A TRACTOR!!!! ive been sooo obedient this transfer but man when that opportunity presented itself i could not pass it up:,) our whole district was out on the wallaces ranch all day saturday, helping him build a pig pen out of recycled telephone poles sooooo i drove it when we used it to dig the ditch for the poles. it was AWESOME!

sister beames got "my plan" which is basically a program for missionaries getting close to returning home... it got me thinking a lotttt about old me & the me i wanna be when i am in her shoes, prepping to go home. i was telling a friend earlier today that i have seen so much growth in myself in just the past 3 weeks, let alone the past year. MISSIONS ARE INCREDIBLE! incredibly hard but incredibly transforming. & the transformation is so worth it i can already tell!
romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
but 2 nephi 25:23 says "For we labor diligently... to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do."
im putting forth my all right now, giving EVERYTHING up! & i still fall short. but through christ, my efforts are magnified & my effort becomes enough. THAT is grace. THAT is the atonement in action. and THAT is why i love my savior.

SO YEAH! yay for missions! yeehaw & a giddy on up as sis beames would say:,)

sending texas size love!
