Week 53!

I hit 1 year as a missionary last week AHHH thought this day would never come but WOW I'm grateful it did. last night I got trunky (per usual) but this time it was cause I was excited to make a worship music playlist to listen to on Sundays:,,,) that's a true change of heart if I've ever seen one.

this week was BONKERS honestly there was so much that I don't even know what to say in this email:,) & we predicted that this last week will be our slowest this whole transfer soooo.... wild.

we are having a hard time nailing down our focus for the transfer but at the moment we're focusing on finding a truly prepared person & helping people feel loved and seen. it's been super cool!! I know God is preparing people for us go not only teach, but to support & help.

we had a mega spiritual lesson with one of our recent converts named ivan. I'll probably talk about him a lot because he's INCREDIBLE! he was telling us little snippets of his past from before he found God & said that it was a very dark place. I asked what helped him find his light again... he sat thinking for a minute and i was expecting a grand story but he simply said one word: KINDNESS!!! you never know the impact a kind word or a simple act of service will have on someone.

I made a goal for myself to finish the book of mormon again before i come home & as of tomorrow, I have 200 days left. I am SO excited!!! I wrote my testimony in the back & am planning on writing it again when I finish! AHH I love the book of mormon so much it brings me so much joy. I'm grateful.
