Week 52!

WOW what a wild few days... one thing I've learned since being on a mission is DONT GET COMFORTABLE! God has a funny way of turning my world upside down in ways I least expect:,)

this won't be too long since it's only been like 3 days HAHA but I'll share a couple cool things!
- last pday in roswell we went to an abandoned missile silo :0 soooo sick!
- saying goodbye to the squad was TOUGH love them so much! this district was truly a blessing to me
- SAW 4/6 PAST COMPS IN ONE DAY! sanders, mac, chock, and oliver... all angels to me!
- drove a total of around 7 hours right back over to abilene zone.. felt like deja vu:,)
- reunion with queen beames! we've served around each other a couple times & now we're comps! how cool:)
- we've been runnin all over san ang:,) done a bunch of stopbys & have had some super cool experiences!
- love the ward already, they're super on board to improve their missionary mindedness.. inspiring

my goal this transfer is to emulate Christ's attribute of being a HEALER! if you have any insights on that, send em my way!

two things I found very cool this week:
-my mom sent me a book called grace to become by emily belle freeman & it's great!!! at one point she writes the phrase "we came to learn jesus."
- david butler posted a couple days ago & talked about hearing his sons friends give their farewell talks before their missions.. he said that one if the boys mentioned that part of his focus is "to bring happy to their heart."
BOTH OF THESE ARE SO SIMPLE & PROFOUND!!
I thought I was coming solely to help others "learn jesus" but I've realized that I'm definitely the one learning him most! but in that process of coming to know him more, my heart is more full, full to overflowing!!! & all I desire is to "bring happy" to other people's hearts! the mission is HARD but those 2 things make it all worth it.

I have a feeling this transfers gonna be a stretching one for me so selfishly, I ask that if you can, say a lil prayer for me.. I'll need all the help I can get!:)
