Week 38!

started off the week with a pday in the city.... learned how to play Pokémon, like the card version-it's okay you can flame me if you want-and I ate sushi!!!


then i had EXCHANGES W SIS HOGGE!! I just love San Ang... both times I've been there have been some awesome miracles. I shared 2 Nephi 1:15 with a girl we met and she cried and took a BoM and is so excited to read it and meet with missionaries again! 


we taught Charlotte and Ellie a super spirit-filled lesson about our missionary purpose, what makes us want to share our testimony with everyone, and prophets. and Sister Keller is a QUEEN and bore testimony too!


we had a really good turn out for our game night on Thursday... 3 families and also an excommunicated member who is trying to get back into church things! the spirit really guided us to make that switch and invite the families we did! hoping for more growth:)


it's been pretty stormy, weather's been pretty unpredictable, so some of our plans fell through and overall it's been pretty slow around here BUT it's okay! the thing I'm holding onto is something that Sister Mac says all the time, "I'm here because I love Jesus!" 


I just want you all to know that God is your loving Heavenly Father. I've had conversations with people out here who describe God as an abstract being and that hurts my heart:( He is a REAL person! He has a body of flesh and bone! when we pray, we are praying to our Father! I'm so thankful to know this, to know that he knows and loves me perfectly and that I can come to know Him as well!! I have come to know Him the most through trying to love the people I come in contact with as He does. I'd love to hear your testimony about God and how you know he knows you!!

Week 46!

a gr8 weeeeeek!  some highlights: - went to Ruidoso and did a hike with our district last week! it's one 2 of places in our mission with mountains and pine trees:,) - found 4 people!! one is a media referral and the other 3 are a father and his w teenage sons that we found when we randomly knocked on their door. it was pretty exciting! Sister Oliver's last area was pretty tough so she was super stoked about finding all of them:) - we got a new mission president and met him over zoom on Thursday night! so crazy. we're gonna miss pres & sis child but are SO stoked for pres & sis langeveld... keep them in your prayers! - Friday we spent the entire day in roswell at their annual alienfest. we helped set up and run errands in the morning & sat at a booth in the afternoon. then we were in a parade at night.. me & elder draper wore blow up among us suits that a lady gave us and pinned our tags on the front... we ended up winning $250 for having the most crowd inter...
