Week 30!

fun facts about Sister Sanders.. she's obsessed with learning about the signs of the second coming. her dad just sent her a book called 100 signs of the times... every time she talks about it I get stressed out:,)

there were so many small tender mercies this week.. truly a happy few days!

1) my friend ocean came to see me! a perk of serving in Texas haha

2) a guy named Richard played and sang us worship songs he wrote and they were amazing!

3) we got to go to an African children's choir concert at one of the Baptist churches in town! it was incredible to watch and also to see people from all the churches uniting for it

4) we were able to get in touch with MORE less actives and our good friend and less active member Debbie came to church AGAIN! yay for member work♡

5) we had another lesson with lacy finally after like 6 weeks! we talked about the healing and supporting power we can feel from the atonement

6) I MADE DUMPLINGS they were so cute looking... they looked better than they tasted though haha

7) we had a potluck on Friday with our foodbank friends! earnest made bacon cinnamon rolls... sounds weird but it's SOO good

8) we taught ANOTHER LESSON! 2 investigator lessons this week yall! big deal. we taught justin and Kristi about the plan of salvation and they LOVED it.

9) we played the throw, throw burrito game with the kellers and we were all crying laughing

at one point this week, we called our friend Dana to check in on her. she answered the phone saying "good morning sunshines!!!" IT MADE MY WEEK. my parents call me their "sunshine girl" so it was a little piece of home... but Dana didn't know that! I know it's a common saying but I truly think she said that because we have a special light about us and she feels peaceful when she's with us! its a safe assumption because we have the light of christ surrounding us, especially as missionaries. BUT EVERYONE HAS IT! members of this church or not! as you serve in Christ's way, love in Christ's way, talk in Christ's way, your light will grow stronger and you will be a greater force for good in the lives of the people around you! I'm so thankful for the opportunity I have to be here:)
