Week 9!

Hey yall week 9 AYOOO! This is the last week of the transfer.. we had a 7 week one sooo its felt long BUT I'm stoked for this week! I predict that me and sister adams will be staying here together next transfer so she can finish my training and we can finish establishing the area because we were the first sisters here for in a loooong time. Also I hit my 2 month mark on Saturday and Sister Adams hit her 13 month mark on Thursday!

Fun fact about the comp this week... Sister Adams wants to be an author one day and she makes up stories in her head based on a lot of things BUT the coolest one is when she creates stories about the songs I play in the car. She's so creative it's insane!

I've been listening to the dark side of the moon pink floyd album this week... really loving eclipse and us and them sooo highly recommend yall listen to those if ya can:)

As for this week, anotha day anotha dolla man. I felt like we didn't do much but I think it's cause I'm finally falling into a routine and the schedule is starting to feel normal hahah.
We found a good amount of people this week!! People who request information through Facebook have proved to be promising potentials for us which is great... none of them are progressing very far right now but that's okay, everyone moves at their own pace and we just try and teach based on needs!

Pretty big update actually... we moved!! Last week of the transfer and they moved us :,) it's actually a good move though. The apartment we are in now is way bigger, in a nicer and safer part of town, and actually in our area. It's farther from our church building and my favorite member family hahah BUT I'm happy to be here! Packing, cleaning and moving took up a good chunk of Saturday but were settled and ready to have a full week of work next week!

BIIIIG MIRACLE.... everyone who prayed for Jessica this past week THANK YOU!! We had a lesson with her last night and she told us she read the Book of Mormon almost every day last week! She read Alma 26 and Moroni 7, two FIRE chapters. We talked about Moroni 7 and she had a lot of really good insights. She said she felt really good reading it and that she could feel a difference in her day when she read it. We talked about how she knows the Bible is true and I asked her if she wants to know if the Book of Mormon is true... she said "I don't need to know if it's true, I already believe it is." SUCH STRONG FAITH! We talked about gaining our own personal witness through prayer and I invited her to pray before and after she reads, asking God to manifest its truthfulness to her. Sister Adams felt prompted to add that when she prays, she should pray about baptism too... and she said she would!! From the past, we know if she doesn't wanna do something she wont commit. MORAL OF THE STORY... YOUR PRAYERS WORKED!! She found the strength and motivation to read and she saw the blessings! Keep praying this week please! We are planning on inviting her to be baptized next week if all goes well AHH:)

I read Ether 12 this week... this is the chapter that talks about God turning our weaknesses into strengths i LOVE it and recommend that all of you read it. Part of verse 23 really stuck out to me... it says "for Lord thou hast made us mighty in word by faith." All the verses leading up to this verse talk about what the amazing Book of Mormon prophets like Nephi and Ammon and Alma did by the power of faith and I found myself thinking "man they are all amazing guys, imagine being that faithful" BUT that verse came and I read it and IMMEDIATELY thought "wait, that's God's promise to me." As a missionary, I have to testify and teach every day. YES I like talking and making friends but talking about Jesus all of the time is not a strength of mine hahah. But here I am on a mission, the biggest leap of faith EVER:,), and I am teaching by the spirit, the mightiest words EVER!! I know that if you recognize your weaknesses and take leaps of faith in the direction of improvement, you will see growth that comes through the power of God! He knows you better than anyone and he wants to help you:)

Miss yall so much! I love you and pray for you!!!
