Week 3!

GUYS time is flying by already 
I just left the MTC and I'm on my way to texas.. don't even know how to explain how I'm feeling right now. A little scared a little tired a little excited, honestly just overwhelmed. But I'm sure I'll feel better once I've met my trainer! Don't know who she is yet but I'm prayin she's cool.


This week was so awesome. We had lots of good devotionals and classes. I seriously have learned so much already and I can't wait to start applying it this week.


My district is the best district ever. I have learned so much from all of them through their insights and past experiences. I honestly don't know how we got so close in just 3 weeks, only half of that in person BUT I am so thankful for it. Sister Merrill said something so profound in our last district devotional... she said something like "love brings the greatest joy and the greatest pain." I love my district so much so I was so happy learning and growing with them but that connection we built made it so hard to leave. I know God put me with those people for a reason truly. 6C forever!!


I had my first hard day this week. Finally cried which, if you know me, you know that's a big deal hahah. I think I just got super overwhelmed and felt inadequate... sharing God's love and his gospel with people is a huge responsibility!! But in the last paragraph of my mission call letter from the first presidency, it says "we place our confidence in you and pray that the lord will help you become an effective missionary." My teacher who had us reread our call letter was definitely inspired to share that because now I feel a bit better.. God chose me to go to Lubbock Texas at this time for many reasons, for my strengths and weaknesses, and he has confidence that I will be a good missionary. Im not close to BEING a good missionary yet but I strive and will continue to strive to BECOME one every day through the help of the atonement. GOD IS GOOD GUYS! He loves you and knows you!

Week 46!

a gr8 weeeeeek!  some highlights: - went to Ruidoso and did a hike with our district last week! it's one 2 of places in our mission with mountains and pine trees:,) - found 4 people!! one is a media referral and the other 3 are a father and his w teenage sons that we found when we randomly knocked on their door. it was pretty exciting! Sister Oliver's last area was pretty tough so she was super stoked about finding all of them:) - we got a new mission president and met him over zoom on Thursday night! so crazy. we're gonna miss pres & sis child but are SO stoked for pres & sis langeveld... keep them in your prayers! - Friday we spent the entire day in roswell at their annual alienfest. we helped set up and run errands in the morning & sat at a booth in the afternoon. then we were in a parade at night.. me & elder draper wore blow up among us suits that a lady gave us and pinned our tags on the front... we ended up winning $250 for having the most crowd inter...
